What counts as a plumbing emergency
Call immediately if water is actively leaking and you cannot stop it, if sewage is coming up through a drain, if you have no water at all, or if a pipe has frozen or split. A dripping tap or a single slow drain can usually wait for regular business hours.
While you wait, shut off the main water valve if it is safe to do so, turn off power to affected areas if water is near electrical, and move valuables away from the water.
Our 24/7 answering service
Outside business hours, your call to (902) 453-4800 goes to our answering service. They take your name, address and a description of the problem and pass it straight to the on-call plumber, who will call you back to confirm details and arrange to come out. During business hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, our office dispatches a crew directly.
